America is a greatest nation, a nation nourished by many cultures, traditions and peoples. Thus,  immigration is not just a link to America’s past; it’s also a bridge to America’s future. Nearly 100 million citizens - or as many as one in three Americans - have been impacted by the legal system, ranging from suspended driving licenses to total loss of socioeconomic status and ability to be gainfully employed.  Impacts which, for many without skills, without social and emotional support, can negatively influence lives forever. The social costs and economic losses run into the billions of dollars. If we are to remain an exceptional nation, we must close this gap in opportunity.

UR Citizen Project is shaping itself to become a leader in the movement to give every man and woman who is willing to work hard a chance to succeed in order to break this expensive and destructive cycle.

The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.
— Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

Our Practice

UR Citizen focuses on successful reintegration, job creation, and access to financial resources for marginalized populations placing their hope in expanding prosperity and security for themselves, their communities and the nation.

At this day and age, those millions have become increasingly involved and is about as close as they come to political power, have already built a coalition and expanded social movement. UR Citizens and its leaders have a better shot at reaching out to the country and have an open conversation about what works and how we can redefine how political power is apportioned in America representing interest of the people and communities and not exclusively of economic elite, power players, political establishment.

Ethics & Fashion in Politics

On December 12th, 2018 UR Citizen held an event on Wednesday called Ethics & Fashion in Politics. It took place at the Philip A. Hart Senate Office Building.

There were several expert panelists speaking that evening. A discussion on Ethics was presented by Dr. Karl Viehe, Adjunct Professor of Georgetown, George Washington, and American Universities. Then Etiquette Expert, Crystal Bailey, spoke on topics of Protocol and Politics. A presentation of Image and Color Consultant Jane Pennewell followed by a spectacular Fashion Show.

It was opened by a collection of Keula Binelly, the fabulous Brazilian designer who encompasses and helps to define and communicate color and celebrate sensuality, life, and love. Elena Wittman, Millinery Designers’ collection demonstrated how a modern woman can choose to become and look more elegant. Ukrainian designer Irena Levkovich’s dresses were made of luxurious natural wool, soft and light-weight, perfect for casual and special occasions in Winter and all year round. Halim Mohibular, Men’s suit designer from Afghanistan, brought next-level take on custom suits, quality, and style. His line was an example of perfect fit, functionality, durability, and impeccable attention to details. Put simply, fashion runs through the Italian blood. Franca Bartoli’s Winter Collection reflected blends of classic design that flatters one’s figure and Italian flare making it a mainstay of fashion among Washington elite.

An exhibition of art including more than 20 selected pieces of a Russian Artist, Alla Fox, was presented to the public for the first time. Davide Prete is a world-famous Italian artist, sculptor, and architect, who specializes in combining traditional techniques with 3-D and laser technology. Davide started his career as a jewelry designer and now, he is incorporating 3-D printing into a personal project by creating bronze busts of members of Congress to be a part of an American Flag sculpture.

Over 250 guests attending the event enjoyed a delicious buffet display and an unforgettable culinary experience.

A panel was moderated by Journalists Neil W. McCabe with Breitbart News, Allison Marie Johnson and Giedre Stasiunaite.

The event was sponsored by UR Citizen and US Senate Office of Kamala Harris from California. In November 2020, Kamala Harris made history as the first woman elected Vice President of the United States of America.
